The Veterans Band of Corpus Christi:

• To join as a Musician Band Member
  • All band instruments are needed and welcomed
  • No try outs are required
    • Musicians will be given time to:
      • Learn and perform in patriotic musical ceremonies
        • Veteran musician will assist in your learning
      • Get comfortable with the system
        • Many new members had not played their band instruments in over 40 years before they joined the Veterans Band family.

       

• To join as a Color Guard Band Member
  • Learn flag etiquette and participate in Color Guard Ceremonies
    • Veteran Color Guard members will assist in your learning

     

• Requirements for musician and Color Guard members
  • Must have served and honorably discharged from
    • Any US military branch
      • Active Duty or Reserves
    • Must submit DD214 and dues
  • To be authorized to proudly wear the veterans band uniform
    • Attend (10) ten events/rehearsal within a consistent period
      • Sworn in as an official Veterans Band of Corpus Christi member

The Veterans Band of Corpus Christi is a non-profit organization. The Veterans Band does not charge for any of the patriotic performances. Our goal is to honor those who serve our country.

As supporting member you will make it possible for The Veterans Band to continue to support our troops, veterans and our city, community, state and nation.
